Retno/Weber 48 IDA’s SBC Chevy complete set as used in Lola McLaren CanAm Race Chapparal USRRC.

This is a reproduction intake manifold of the very rare and exceptional Chaparral SBC Chevy 283, 327, 350, 366, 400 intake manifold set up with 4 down draft 48 IDA Retno style Weber carburators.

This is the same as the Chapparal one created by Jim Hall for his Can AM race cars.

The original manifold used the intake plate from a 1963/64 Corvette fuel injection and installed runners to accept the Weber 48 Ida carburetors. We have made improvements to the manifold plate, adding a third mounting stud and matching ports on all runners, as well as other areas to add strength

The carburetors are Retno down draft 48IDA’s reproduction of the Webers. These have been made using the best material and machining process available. They are just the best available. We went as far as putting suds to affix the upper parts of the carburetors, same as the early original ones. Di chromate coating finishing,

Teflon-coated shaft, brass floats, third idle hole, and many other improvements.

This unit comes complete as shown with linkages, lines installed, fuel pressure gauge and regulator, aluminum CNC air stack with screens.
