Designed specifically for racing applications, the Retno 153TA-8 Small Block Ford (SBF) Flywheel is a specially manufactured 153-tooth flywheel developed for Ford 289, 302, and 351 engines. Originally designed with Lola and McLaren race cars in mind, this flywheel features a specialized design that works with a compatible starter engineered to fit this application.

Manufactured from high-quality 4140 steel, the Retno 153TA-8 is built for strength, durability, and dependable performance in demanding racing environments. It features a 6-bolt, 7.25-inch clutch assembly pattern and comes finished in black oxide.

The flywheel's 12-point head design bolts feature a larger-than-stock shank diameter for increased strength and improved registration. Manufactured from aerospace-grade steel, these bolts are heat-treated prior to thread rolling and machining, with drilled heads for safety wiring to support secure installation in racing applications.
